Raquel Allegra, born in Berkeley, CA to artisan parents, spent her formative years being encouraged to consistently create through instinct, experiment and play. Her first pieces prove this, as they were made from recycled t-shirts from the LA County Prison. Her work has since evolved and she has developed her own fabric in jersey to make unique, vintage-feeling t-shirts. Raquel defines her style as hippy-chic and believes that every piece of clothing she makes should be comfortable enough to sleep in. Fabrics are sourced locally and each tie dye piece is individually hand tied and dyed.
