An inveterate nomad, Diane Goldstein creates fashion in her own image: joyful, mystical and open to the world. With an architect father and a sculptor mother, she grew up in Paris in a demanding artistic universe. After studying at the central saint martins school, Diane founded the April may brand, which she managed for ten years: we find her street art influences and 90's photographs, a taste for travel and a refined bohemian style

Passionate about tarot as much as about fashion, Diane is now naturally embarking on the creation of a line of kimonos, called Monoki. She gets her supplies from a karate school, has them dyed, washed and then embroidered by a craftsman in Los Angeles. her kimonos are then embroidered by hand with colored threads, like a signature, which gives them a unique touch.  This lengthy artisanal process culminates in the blessing of each piece by a shaman in Big Sur, California. There is in Monoki a mixture of Diane's desires and inspirations, the requirement of beautiful embroidered materials and a touch of mystical spirituality
