EWC founder Emily Collins grew up in Bermuda, an island long a subject of Western folklore. Hints of legends and lore imagined by past cultures are woven throughout the EWC collections, infusing each piece with a unique story.
Emily Weld Collins developed a passion for jewelry while exploring antique shops near her New England boarding school, drawn to the history embodied in heavy gold pieces. After college, she moved to New York City, studied metalsmithing, and later earned a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA, inspired by her grandfather’s love of gemstones.
Her brand reflects her deep appreciation for antique styles, natural gemstones, and craftsmanship, with each piece made in 18k gold or platinum to become a lasting heirloom.
